They can read English.
Now make it sound right.

Emma’s Notes listens to every student read aloud, finds exactly which words go wrong, and helps their teacher fix them — with feedback in the teacher’s own words, spoken out loud.

How it works

One clean loop between teacher and student — the studio does the heavy lifting in the middle, the teacher stays in charge.

1

The teacher builds an IPA reading

Paste any text into the studio — it is annotated in seconds: stress, weak forms, linking, intonation, full IPA. Check every mark, adjust, then choose exactly which students receive it.

2

The student listens, then reads aloud

The student hears the model voice, taps any single word to hear it again, then records their own reading and sends it in — from any phone or tablet.

3

Every wrong word is caught

The recording is checked word by word against the text. Mispronounced, skipped and unclear words are caught — each with a simple "say it like this" fix.

4

The teacher approves — in voice

The teacher receives the report with a ready-drafted warm reply. Edit, press send — the student gets it as text and natural spoken audio. Same-day feedback, better results.

II

What the teacher sees

A student read "The little red hen found a grain of wheat…" — this is the genuine report, untouched.

foundheard as findedfound
Say 'found' with the 'ow' as in cow — it rhymes with sound.
Draft reply, ready to send 🔊
"Great job reading the whole story! One word to practise: it's not finded — it's found, like sound. Say it three times, listen to the model, and try once more. You're so close!"

The teacher edits anything she likes, ticks "also send as audio", and the student hears the correction in a warm, natural voice.

Apps score. Teachers teach.

Self-study apps and school tools exist — Reading Coach, ELSA, Speechace. Here is what they cannot do.

Self-study apps

  • The student practises alone with a robot score
  • Generic texts — not your class, not your level
  • No real teacher ever hears the reading
  • Feedback is a number, not a person

Reading Coach, ELSA, Speechace — great technology, nobody teaching.

Emma’s Notes

  • Your teacher builds every material — your words, your level
  • Expert IPA markup, like the finest board work
  • Every reply is written and approved by a real teacher
  • Feedback arrives in text and a warm voice
  • Built for teachers and training centres who own their students

Everything a teaching business needs

Quietly complete — assignment, history, tracking, time.

01

Private assignments

Each material goes only to the students you choose. Students never see each other's work.

02

History by date

Click any day: what was made, who received it, what came back, every reply sent.

03

Per-student tracking

For every student — which materials, on which date, and whether their reading has come back.

04

Access time control

Add a week, a month, three months — or pause. Subscription students are managed by the platform.

05

One-tap enrolment

Send one invite link; the student picks their own login and appears in your class.

06

Real voice everywhere

Model readings, tap-a-word listening, and teacher replies spoken in a natural voice.
